James started First Grade on Monday, August 23, 2010. What a momentous day at our house. James was ready almost an hour before it was time to go. He could hardly wait to get out the door. There were so many new and exciting thing to look forward to...
Walking to school with all the buddies was great. James is lucky to have a whole neighborhood full of boys his age. They are all the best of friends and really look out for each other.
Meeting Mrs. Porter, his new teacher, and checking his classroom was fun. He felt so grown up knowing he would be there all day with the big kids. And, of course, having two recesses everyday is amazing.
But the very best part of all??? Eating lunch at school. It's all about the lunch box!
