While most of our friends and family were freezing in Salt Lake, we welcomed in the new year in the hot tub "swimming pool" in St. George with Grandpa and Grandma Seal! We had a grand trip to Southern Utah. It wasn't exactly warm, but it was better than up north! We played games, did puzzles (Daniel is a puzzle whiz! So is Daddy...way to go with the 1000 pieces!), took naps, played at the park, and ate out. Grandpa and Grandma were wonderful hosts, as usual

We had a festive New Year's Eve pizza party sponsered by Grandma "Party Girl" Seal, complete with hats, blowers, and fancy cups for sparkling cider. The boys thought it was the best! After dinner we went to downtown St. George to check out the First Night activities. The boys loved the live music, the giant inflatible slide, and the cool skateboarders. Best of all, they got to climb inside several REAL fire engines! We capped off the evening with a treat of the boys' choice...ice cream. The big kids decided hot chocolate was better for warming us up, but James and Daniel polished their ice cream off in no time. When all was said and done, this rowdy group was in bed by 10:30. Happy New Year!!!

Boy with the foot of snow we received this past week - that hot tub is looking mighty good!
I'm sad that we missed the "way festive" party hats and all this year. Looks like fun!
