In one of those lapses in parental communication, Daniel was briefly left unsupervised in the basement on Saturday. Earlier, Art had been downstairs painting in the den. Daniel was in the other room watching Baby Einstein. When Art came upstairs to shower, he didn't realize that Baby Einstein was no longer on. I didn't realize that Art had come upstairs. Neither of us realized that there was a paint tray left out in the corner of the den. Apparently Daniel realized all of these facts, however, and decided to make the most of his moment of freedom. The following pictures tell the story quite well!

A call to Poison Control ruled out that any paint Danny licked might cause him harm. A dunk in the tub removed the evidence from him. A damp cloth revealed that our new hardwood floor cleans up pretty nicely and the TV doesn't seem to be any worse for the wear. The only real casualties were Danny's clothes and the mini tramp in the exercise room.

Man, that smile on his face is priceless! Looks like he was having a ball!
How do they always find the things they shouldn't be playing with?
After hearing your story on the phone - it is "fun" to see the photos to go with it. Aren't you amazed how quickly kids to do mass distruction? :)
